- EFIN
In order to use OLTPRO e-file software, you must be an authorized e-file provider and have an active electronic filing identification number (EFIN). To apply for an EFIN complete and submit Form 8633 to the IRS for acceptance into the program. An EFIN will be assigned to you upon IRS approval. Form 8633 FAQ
PTIN
A preparer tax identification number (PTIN) will be required for the 2011 tax season. This number is used as a preparers identifying number on all tax returns that they prepare. To apply for a PTIN complete and submit form W-7P to the IRS. Form W-7P
